Global Check-In 2024: Harnessing the potential of cross-border e-commerce
On September 19, 2024, the second edition of Global Check-In took place in Warsaw. Organized by the Polish Chamber of Commerce, the event focused on both the challenges and opportunities arising from digital exports. The event brought together numerous representatives from business, government, and academia, offering a platform for joint discussions on developing business abroad. A key element was the analysis of cross-border e-commerce, the potential of which is becoming increasingly important in the era of globalization and technological advancement.
The panel discussions covered issues such as:
- legal regulations related to foreign expansion,
- logistic efficiency,
- marketing strategies and cultural differences that influence the effectiveness of expansion.
During the event, the ecommerce.legal team had the pleasure of participating in the Expert Zone, where we shared our insights on the legal aspects of international online commerce. Our tips on preparing for international expansion were aimed at entrepreneurs who want to capitalize on the potential of new markets to grow their business, as well as avoid the legal pitfalls associated with local regulations in individual European countries.
